The Foundation
Nakano College, a Japanese-founded institution, traces its origins to the vision of High Priest Ven. Shushyo Koyso Thera and Ven. Anuradha Nakano Theri. Under the directorship of Ven. Kuburugamuwa Soratha Thero, the college began its journey as a co-educational, English-medium institute. The establishment of Nakano Pre-School on September 6, 2005, marked the first step in providing quality education to the community.
First Major Milestone
On September 6, 2009, Nakano College was officially founded in Alubomulla, starting with a modest number of students and two dedicated teachers. This marked a significant milestone in the institution's growth.
Present Day
Today, Nakano College proudly serves over 1,400 students with the support of more than 90 qualified teachers. The campus is equipped with modern classrooms and facilities that support a holistic, globally competitive education.
