Swimming

Swimming classes are held weekly at the Bandaragama Public Ground Swimming Pool, culminating each year in an inter-house swimming meet. All students from UKG onwards are encouraged to take swimming lessons.

Athletics

Track and field events are conducted at the Athletic Training Classes held at the Bandaragama public grounds. The Inter House Athletic Meet is an annual feature in our Sports Calendar and is held at the Bandaragama public grounds grounds.

Students are chosen to participate in:

• Circuit Meets
• Junior John Tarbat Meet

Chess

Students from Grade 2 onwards are encouraged to take part in chess, which is conducted once a week in the school. Our students have won at the national level. It helps students develop critical thinking skills.

Cricket

The school has three cricket teams:

• Under-13
• Under-15
• Under-17

All practices are conducted at the Bandaragama public cricket ground, and the teams participate in various matches representing the school. The inter-school Under-13, Under-15, and Under-17 cricket tournaments are also annual events.

Badminton

Badminton is held for students from Grade 3 onwards at the Bandaragama public indoor stadium.

Karate
